This Council Bluffs YMCA facility replaced the YMCA previously located in the historic downtown area. The new facility is a multi-level structure that consists of the YMCA’s fitness activities, as well as their wellness initiatives. The facility includes a full-size gymnasium, weight area with running track, multipurpose rooms, and a large aquatic area featuring a 25-meter lap pool, lazy river, zero-depth entry pool, and a warm water therapy pool that is shared with Alegent Healthcare.

The building also includes a physical therapy and nutrition center, 25 yard, zero-entry pool with spray deck, 13,000sf wellness area, flexible meeting spaces, teaching kitchen, child learning center, full-court gymnasium, and flexible fitness studios
